L.A-based Animator/Illustrator/Storyboard Artist

"SCRATCHED" (LMU)
As one of the few Thesis films I was able to help work on, Christina Oyebade was kind enough to let me work as a Rough Animator/ Key Animator on a couple of the film's scenes. (you can see some of my roughs Here). Overall, the experience was incredibly rewarding and I learned a ton by working on this project.
"CHEESE and WAR" - thesis film
This was my second Thesis Film (solo) I completed at LMU. Cheese and War is endearing, upbeat, action-packed. Influenced by anime-based fight scenes, I wanted the choreography in this film to be quick and striking, with an emphasis on acrobatic moves and sequences.
"CHILD OF HELL" (LMU)
This was the first animation project I was able to collaborate on at LMU. While the concept and overall plot of the film was not mine, I nevertheless was able to contribute to the rough animation, line work, and some background shots. The majority of the rough and clean animation was done by me for the first half of the film from 0:00 to 1:04. This film was done in collaboration with
LMU Thesis Film (1) - Midnight Note
As a part of my Senior year at LMU, I was expected to complete a student film to show my progress during the time at the University. This was the first of two student films I was able to finish solo - apparently, a first in LMU history. Midnight Note is a slow, yet suspenseful horror film that was based off of an idea I had when I was younger. I've always been a fan of horror, so this film was merely a chance for me to create something that gave a nod to the genre I've come to greatly like.
Climate 360 - Jobs in Climate Change
During my time at LMU, while I worked for the Loyolan (student newspaper), I was assigned to a newly added department called "Climate 360" that focused on creating content revolving around Climate Change and related topics. One of the projects I had the pleasure of working on was a short video dedicated to informing people about rising jobs in the economy that was environmentally-conscious. Aside from doing all of the research on my own, I also was responsible for all of the script, editing, and animation for the video.
COLLABORATIVE WORKS
These are all of the animation projects that I've had some hand in creating. For each of these, I've been either the rough animator, background designer, or cleanup artist.
LMU - Children of August
This was the Thesis Film of a fellow student named Marcella Maggio, whom I took a class with. My contribution to this film was relatively little, since I was also working on my Thesis Film at the time, but I did do the roughs for the shot @ 3:41 to 3:46 of the character running out of the car.
LMU - Beyond the Shadows
In my first year at LMU, I agreed to help work on a Thesis Film titled Beyond the Shadow that was being directed by Nicole Grimes, a Senior animation student at the time. I was asked to work on the majority of the background images throughout the film. I was given a basic color palette to work with as well as a "crumpled paper" texture that I layered over the backgrounds to give them an aesthetic that would match with the feel of the film.
Climate 360 - People don't care about climate change...
As a part of Climate 360, I also worked on a second project where I was expected to create short animated snippets to put over prerecorded audio commentary. I was initially given small visual prompts that I had to work off of to make the animated sections before they were eventually edited into the video.
